Dayahang Rai’s film ‘Neerphool’ is going to be screened nationwide from Jestha 26. The producer, director along with the main actors of the film were present at the press conference held in Kathmandu to give information about the film.
In the press meet, Dayahang said that Neerphool is based on an original story and a rare incident and its script is also strong. He said that he got a chance to get to know the Tamang culture closely while working on this film.
There are also two communities in Tamang namely Buddhism and Tantrism. From the family structure after the marriage of these two communities, naming them and many other cultures can be seen in this film, said Dayahang.
Dayahang also said that the film strongly raised the issue of identity. “When a Nepali unemployed in the country returns home after working abroad for a few years, what can be so ironic as to disappear from the map of Nepal and not find his village?”
Dayahang has played the role of a character in Neerphool who lost his hometown from the map of Nepal and lost his family after the earthquake.
