Finally, Nischal Basnet has returned to direction. The shooting of his new directorial film ‘Dimag Kharab’ has started from Monday at Panchkhal, Kavre after the auspicious ceremony at Budhanilkanth temple. The film with a schedule of 40 days will be made on the story of People vs Power. The film will be screened from Kartik 24.
Akash Baral’s screenplay is written in the film, and the ‘lineup’ of actors is strong. The film features Khagendra Lamichhane, Dayahang Rai, Arpan Thapa, Swastima Khadka and Bijay Baral in lead roles. Swastima is going to work under the direction of her husband Nischal Basnet for the first time. They have acted together in more than half a dozen music videos and the film ‘Ghamad Shere’.
Produced under the banner of Black Horse Pictures and Cinema Arts, the film will have editing by Nimesh Shrestha, cinematography by Susan Prajapati, music by Jayan K Vaiva and Kali Prasad Baskota. Raunak Vikram Kandel is the producer of the film and Suraj Bam Thakuri is the executive producer. Nischal, who has changed the style of storytelling in Nepali films from ‘Loot’, has great expectations among the audience for ‘Dimag Kharab’.
