Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has participated in the world’s biggest fashion Mahakumbh ‘Met Gala’ wearing a dress designed by world famous Nepali fashion designer Prabal Gurung. At the ceremony on Monday, she wore a white gown, in which her beauty was revealed more. It is her debut at the Met Gala. Alia’s dress is made of more than 100,000 pearls.
Prabal has prepared the dress for Alia in India. He used to live in America and reached India after staying in Nepal for a few days last month. On that occasion, he designed Alia’s dress for the Met Gala. Alia said on Instagram that the dress she wore was made with love by Prabal. Both attended the ceremony together.
American model Anok Yai, American actress Kelsey Asbill Cho, American writer, producer and actress Quinta Brunson, New Zealand filmmaker and actor Taika Waititi and British singer and songwriter Rita Ora also attended the Met Gala wearing Prabal. Earlier too, Prabal has designed clothes for world famous celebrities for the Met Gala.
In 2017, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone also made her debut at the Met Gala by wearing Prabal designs. Other Bollywood actresses like Kareena Kapoor, Kiara Advani, Priyanka Chopra, Aishwarya Rai, Katrina Kaif, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Radhika Merchant have also worn her designs. Designer Gurung was born in Singapore and grew up in Kathmandu.
