Kathmandu- Nepal European Union Film Festival has appointed actress Miruna Magar as this year’s brand ambassador. The European Union office in Nepal informed about this and said that the ‘Kabaddi 4’ and ‘Jari’ famous actress has been appointed as an ambassador.
This time the festival is being organized in three places. The festival will be held at Sudurpaschim University Mahendranagar from April 28 to 30, Madhyapaschim University at Surkhet from May 3 to 5 and Film Development Board Hall at Kathmandu from May 12 to 15.
Eight European and eight Nepali short films will be shown in this year’s edition. As the year 2023 is being celebrated as the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the theme of this year’s festival was ‘Celebrating Human Rights for All’, according to a statement released by the festival.
Last year, the actress Keki Adhikari was appointed festival ambassador.
