The web series ‘Citadel’ starring Bollywood and Hollywood actresses Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden is going to be made on an expensive budget.
According to Indian media, Amazon Studios’ spy-thriller web series is being made for $300 million (Rs 2500 crore).
It is the second most expensive series after ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’. The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power was made for $465 million.
According to the American media, the budget of “Citadel” was set at 160 million dollars. As some scenes of the series had to be changed, the budget of the film was increased.
Along with Priyanka and Richard, the web series stars Stanley Tucci, Leslie Manville, OC Ikhile and others.
The Russo Brothers-directed series will air 6 episodes on Amazon Prime. The first two episodes of the series will be released on 28th April and a new episode will be shown every week from 26th May.
