Kathmandu. The shooting of the film ‘Jand’ directed by Raju Shah (Rajendra) has been completed. Director Shah said that the film was completed on Sunday after 19 days of continuous shooting. “The film started with a 22-day shooting schedule and was completed in 19 days,” said director Shah.
On the auspicious time of NIF Film Festival, the film has been shot in locations around Nagarkot. Produced by Rajendra Bhatt, the film stars Sanbi Khatiwada, Padam Gurung and Kamala Dahal in lead roles. Apart from Sanbi, Padam and Kamala, the film also features Manju Shrestha, Subas Gajurel, Lakshmi Timilsena and others.
What kind of infamy does Jand have in the society? How does it affect the house? The theme of the film is how the wife, daughter and society look at a man who drinks alcohol. Shah, a well-known dance director in the Nepali film industry, has previously directed some films including ‘Namaste Nepal’.
