Kathmandu – Royal Movies Pvt. Ltd.’s presentation of ‘Chautho Jyoti Films Music Award-2079’ was completed on Friday at Nachghar auditorium.
Bagmati Speaker Bhuvan Pathak, Chairman Niren Shrestha (Royal Movies Pvt. Ltd.) Chairman Bhairam Shrestha were the chief guests of the program inaugurated by playing Naumati baja. In the program, artists of various genres related to song and music were honored.
Among the artists to be honored, the best pop award went to the famous singer Dipesh Shrestha Baidya’s (Jhamke Bulaki). The music video shot in Rukum’s Takseer has won the best folk pop award.
Actress Gauri Malla was also impressed by the personality of singer Shrestha during the awards ceremony of the song. National Anthem Song – Sindhu Paudel, Best Child Singer – Upma Thapalia, Best Video Cinematographer – Anil Katwal and others won awards, while Muralidhar (Dirgha Sadhana Samman), Dhurvaraj Khadka, Gauri Malla, Navraj Ghorasaini, Anand Karki, Uttam K.C. ., Sunil Maske, was honored with special honours. Santosh Sen, Pradeep Khadka, Kristina Gurung, Dabbu Chhetri from Nepali film Premgeet Pariwar- National Film and Music Journalism Awards have been awarded.
The jury consisted of Yash Kumar, Manjita K.C., Hum Gayre, Jai Lakshmi Chantyal Pun, Om Sunwar, Ramkumar K.C., Gyanendra Shahi and in the program Aman Shrestha, Anita Lama, Durgesh Thapa, Ashwini Kant Jha, Vijay Kayastha, Dozens of artists including Bijendra Naubage, Dhiraj Khatri were honored.
