The 62nd World Theater Day has been celebrated under the joint initiative of Nepal Music and Drama Academy and Mala Arts Academy.
In the program organized under the chief hospitality of the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Sudan Kiranti, playwright Abhi Subedi recited the Nepali translation of a message written by Egyptian actress Samiha Ayoub as a message of an international theater group. The message was translated into Nepali by Shiv Rijal.
In the event, Salil Subedi and group gave a musical performance, while the colorists presented a stage journey envisioned by Saroj Aryal and Sandeep Dangol. Artists also created paintings on canvas.
The program was attended by Bhupal Rai, Chancellor of Nepal Academy of Fine Arts, Naradamuni Hartuchali, Chancellor of Fine Arts Academy of Arts and members of Academy of Arts and Sciences.
