The Film Development Board is going to organize a three-day workshop on screenwriting and directing. The workshop is going to be held from the 3rd to the 5th of Chaitra with Anupam Barve, the associate professor of Indian filmmaker and former FTII (Film and Television Institute of India, Pune). The board said that there is no fee to participate in this workshop.

Who is Anupam Barve?
Anupam is a film and theater director based in Pune, India. Lately, he is an Associate Professor of Film Direction at FTII (Film and Television Institute of India, Pune) and has BA (Performing Art) from Pune University and MA in Film and Television Direction from Westminster, London. Currently, Anupam is busy directing the drama ‘Uzhad’.
Anupam’s feature film ‘The Shadow Lines’, adapted from the novel by Amitabh Ghosh, was selected in the screenwriters’ laboratory of NFDC held at the Venice Film Festival and the International Film Festival of India in 2012. He has also directed the films ‘Fresh Suicide’ and ‘So What’ and is about to come to Nepal for the first time.
