KATHMANDU, 10 Feb: At the meeting of the high-level political mechanism of the ruling coalition, the issue of giving fullness to the Council of Ministers was discussed. On Friday morning, a meeting of the mechanism held at the Prime Minister’s official residence, Baluwatar, discussed the issue of government operations. Deputy Prime Minister and Energy Minister Rajendra Lingden, who is also RPP Chairman, said there was discussion for the Rashtriya Swatantra Party to return to government.
He said that there was no discussion about the presidential candidate at the meeting of the mechanism. He said: “There is already the agreement reached on December 25 on the presidential candidate. There was no discussion today.”
The ruling parties JSP, Janmat and Nagarik Unmukti Party were absent from today’s mechanism meeting.
