Prime Minister Dahal and Oli hold talks in Balkot

KATHMANDU, February 8: A meeting was held between Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli. Prachanda, who is also the chairman of the Maoist Center, arrived at Oli’s residence in Balkot on Wednesday morning to meet with Chairman Oli.
The two leaders are understood to have discussed topics such as the functioning of the government and the presidential and vice-presidential elections. The presidential election will be held on March 9 and the vice presidential election will be held on March 17.
It is understood that there will be a discussion between the two leaders over who should or should not be sent to the vacant ministries after the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) left the government. RSP left the government after it failed to get the Home Office. However, the party has maintained its support for the government.
