Preparations for Bibekshil Sajha Party Congress complete

KATHMANDU, February 9: Preparations have been completed for the first convention of the Bibekshil Sajha Party, which has splintered into several factions. Milan Pandey, the party’s leader, reported that preparations have been completed for the convention, which will open at 10 am on Friday at the Nepal Academy Hall in Kamaladi, Kathmandu. According to him, preparations have been made for the convention by forming a five-member electoral committee under the leadership of the party’s central leader, Keshav Dahal. The convention, which will last until Saturday, will also elect a new leadership.
Pandey reported that Keshav Dahal will present the proposed convention policy document and Ramesh Poudel will present the proposed legislation. According to him, after the convention, the party will switch to a polynomial system. Some 1,000 delegates from across the country will participate in the convention starting Friday.
