The first Governor of Nepal Himalayan Shumsher JB Rana no more

KATHMANDU, February 5 – Himalayan Shumsher JB Rana, the first governor of Nepal’s Rastra Bank, passed away at the age of 95 at 6am on Sunday.
Rana was receiving treatment at Norvic Hospital. He has been suffering from Parkinson’s disease. It is a disease that causes involuntary or uncontrollable movements, such as tremors, stiffness, and difficulty with balance and coordination. Symptoms usually start gradually and get worse over time. As the disease progresses, people may have difficulty walking and talking.
