KATHMANDU, February 5 – The Rastriya Swatantra Party, led by Rabi Lamichhane, has decided to support the government formed under the leadership of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, but the party will not be part of that government.
Central Committee meeting and the party’s Parliamentary Party made a decision to that effect.
Lamichhane has already ordered party ministers to step down.
The party made the decision not to be part of the government after Prime Minister Dahal did not seem convinced to reappoint Rabi Lamichhane to the post of Home Minister.
