Gold price falls Rs 2,000 per tola

KATHMANDU, Feb 5 – The price of gold plunged Rs 2,000 per tola (11.66 grams) in the domestic market today compared to the previous rate. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, the price of fine gold is fixed at Rs 104,100 per tola and standard gold trades at Rs 103,600 per tola. On Friday, fine gold was trading at Rs 106,100 per tola and the standard gold price was Rs 105,600.

Similarly, the price of silver today dropped by Rs 45 per tola to trade at Rs 1,320 per tola. The Federation fixes daily the prices of gold and silver in the domestic market based on international market prices.
