KATHMANDU, February 2: Prime Minister and CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has argued that the Rastriya Swatantra Party is likely to resign from the government.
Addressing a party meeting, Dahal said that if the current political scenario is anything to go by, the Rastriya Swatantra Party is likely to resign from the government.
The next party meeting is scheduled for Friday.
After the Supreme Court declared former Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane’s Nepalese citizenship illegal and removed his parliamentary seat, the post of Home Minister was left vacant.
Lamichhane has now acquired his Nepali citizenship and his party has demanded the Home Office post.
