KATHMANDU, February 1: The Embassy of Japan in Nepal issued a press release on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, after the Government of Japan delivered medical equipment for diabetic retinopathy patients to Kirtipur Eye Hospital, Kathmandu today.
It was stated in the press release that the medical team was set up in the hospital with the support of US$154,100 under the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP) from the Government of Japan.
It is also stated that the Japanese Ambassador to Nepal, HE Kikuta Yutaka attended the ceremony, and congratulated and thanked the efforts of all those involved in the project on the occasion.
