Ravi Lamichhane resigned to the Prime Minister

Kathmandu, January 27: Ravi Lamichhane has resigned from the post of Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister following the order of the Supreme Court. He reached the Prime Minister’s official residence Baluwatar on Friday evening and submitted his resignation to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.
After the Supreme Court declared him a non-citizen, Lamichhane, who became the Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister on December 25, was relieved of his post within 32 days.
