Director Gyanendra Deuja was bouncing back by ‘Zhingedau’

Whether it is an actor or a director, both are hungry for hit films. Because, when the film is a hit, the career remains balanced. There is no lack of discussion and work. In order to make a long journey in the film, it is essential that these two things are in harmony. However, as difficult as it is to make a film, it is even more difficult to succeed commercially. In the current situation, if you can give a hit film, it is equal to making history.

In this, Gyanendra Deuza made history. Because, this year he has given a hit film like ‘Jingedau’. No brand name, no hit film sequel, no aggressive promotion, no big stars, only original content and mature direction made the film successful. This film has been reborn under the direction of Deuja. Because, since ‘Hifazat’, his films were not successful.

After 7 years of the release of the film ‘Buddha Born in Nepal’, he made a comeback as a director with ‘Zhingedau’. And, the comeback was his dream. Now he has no shortage of films. He himself is preparing to make ‘Jingedau 2’ and from next Baisakh, he is directing the film which will be produced and acted by Rekha Thapa. Along with him is Chhaviraj Ojha’s film ‘Jail Breaker’.

After the success of ‘Zhingedau’, not only the producers who believe in his direction have increased, the actors who are called stars have also started chanting his name. Rekha Thapa has not given her the command of directing her film and Pooja Sharma has not agreed to do this work. The belief that he can make a good film by touching the wrists of the audience has grown from ‘Zhingedau’.

He was once a hit machine. ‘Barmala’, ‘Hami Taxi Driver’, ‘Hifazat’, ‘Devar Babu’ are successful films directed by him. However, with the digital era, the production style of Nepali films has also changed the interest of the audience. That is why ‘Zhingedau’ was underestimated before its release, saying that Gyanendra Deuja was a director of analog (reel) era. However, he proved himself again in the direction.
