KP Oli arrives at Bamdev’s residence to ask for a vote for Subash Nemwang in the presidency

KATHMANDU, March 1: NPC UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli arrived in Bhaisepati to meet with leftist leader Bamdev Gautam. After the CPN split, Gautam formed a party called Ekata Rashtriya Abhiyan and has been conducting separate activities.

President Oli went to meet Gautam at his residence, also a member of the National Assembly, after Vice President Subaschandra Nemwang became the UML presidential candidate.

Earlier, Oli had written a letter to the political parties represented in parliament, as well as the Congress, requesting votes for Nemwang. The then CPN-UML vice president, Bamdev Gautam, remained neutral of both parties when the CPN split.
