He often posts parts of his songs on social media while playing the guitar. Now he can be seen in films too. He made his acting debut with the film ‘Khajure Bro’. On Saturday, his almost one-minute-long scene was filmed.
In the film, Sampang will be seen in the role of Dharan’s mayor. As the film was made based on one of Dharan’s characters, he was made to act. The executive producer of the film, Diamond Upreti, has said that the aim of the film is to expose the subject and cultural aspects of the iconic person of Dharan.
This film is being prepared under the direction of Suraj Sunuwar and has been produced under the banner of Dibya Drishya Entertainment. Nabin Manandhar and Suraj Sunuwar are the producers of the film. Anmol Gurung will compose the music for the film’s songs. The film’s cinematographer is Shishir Bisankhe.
The film stars Niti Shah, Mahesh Tripathi, Rare Rai, Nabin Manandhar and others. After shooting the scenes of this film in Kathmandu, the production team reached Dharan. 90% of the film will be shot in Dharan. Some scenes will also be shot in Darjeeling, the production side has said.
