21 years old Aayusha Pyakurel from Nepal has secured the first runner-up position at the prestigious Miss Glam World pageant held on June 21 at Le Meridien Hotel in Kochi, Kerala. Miss Belgium Zomkey Tenzin who emerged as the winner, and second runner-up Samruddi Shetty from India.
Aayusha from Nepal, who was the competitor number 7, gave an attractive performance in the finale holding a red saree and a trishul. She said about the win, “It was hard to believe at first when I won the first runner up title.” Even when my name was announced on the stage, I couldn’t believe it. But when I believed, I felt that the results of my hard work have come. Aayusha, who lives in Chitwan, is also a journalism student. She is also active in the modeling field of Nepal.
