The film ‘Mayor’ has commenced filming in Kathmandu. The film is based on the biography of Bharat Bahadur Thapa, the Mayor of Bagmati Municipality of Sarlahi. The team will travel to Sarlahi after spending a few days filming in Kathmandu.
Khagendra Lamichhane plays the main role in this Dipendra K. Khanal-directed film. On the first day of the film’s production, his appearance was made public.
Compared to his earlier films, Khagendra looks different in this one. In the film, he stars alongside Barsha Raut, Arpan Thapa, Anup Baral, Divya Dev, Prakash Ghimire, Harihar Sharma, Rabindra Jha, Ramesh Budhathoki, Arbisha Thapa, Sanjog Rasaili, Aashant Sharma, Prabhakar Neupane, and Jhaken BC.
