“A Distraction,” a short film from Nepal, has advanced to the “Student World Impact Film Festival” quarterfinals. Om Raj Raut wrote the screenplay and Pramod Trimul directed this nine minutes and forty-five-second film. The film’s writer, Raut, has expressed his joy at the film’s quarterfinal placement.
‘It is truly an honor to be recognized at the World Impact Film Festival. The goal of the movie “A Distraction” is to capture the audience’s relationship with technology and how it affects their personal lives, according to Raut.
The cinematography is directed by Juan Camilo Moreno, who won 4 awards at Cannes Critics’ Week and ‘La Khajuria’, which was selected at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival. Similarly, Bobby Lahot is its sound designer.
