The upcoming Diwakar Bhattarai-directed Nepali film “Mayavi” has begun production. A few days ago, the production team reached Mustang and started filming with the presence of all the actors.
Up until a week ago, the film’s production team was revealing the cast of its lead actors and the composition of its crew as they prepared to begin shooting.
The Nilgiri Himal region of Mustang and the picturesque city of Pokhara are where the film is currently being filmed. The entire 35-day production will take place there, according to director Bhattarai.
In this film, the story is woven in the environment of Pokhara, Deepika Prasai, Paul Shah, Sushil Sitaula, Samim Khan, Karishma Shrestha, Prashant Tamrakar, Rajaram Paudel etc. will play the lead roles. Actor Paul is making his silver screen debut with this film after almost one and a half years, while actress Karishma is making her comeback in a film with ‘Mayavi’ after a long time.
Man Hunt International Nepal-2016 winner Samim Khan is debuting as an actor through this film. This film, which is going to be produced under the banner of Creative Cine Arts, will have director Bhattarai’s own story. Bhattarai is returning to directing after almost four years.
The film has Raju Thapa as DOP, music by SD Yogi and lyrics by Ram Aviral Bista. Action and director Chandra Pant and actor Raj Katuwal are producers in the film. Raj is about to step into production with the film ‘Mayavi’.
