The Film Development Board is going to organize the first National Children’s Film Festival. Spokesman KL Budhathoki informed that the Board’s meeting held on Tuesday decided to hold a children’s film festival in Dang on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of Asadh.
Budhathoki has been assigned as the coordinator of the festival. In the festival, long and short educational films related to children and made by children will be exhibited. Budhathoki said that there will also be a film knowledge attendance competition, a book exhibition and a photo exhibition and a film dance competition.
It is said that the program “Bhuwan KC with children” will also be held at the festival. The aim of the festival is to advance education and culture among children through films, to encourage film practice, formation and operation of children’s film clubs.
