Sagar Nepal from Nepal and Daria Hussain from Iran have become the winners of the fourth edition of Mr. and Miss Blind Rockers International. Organized by Blind Rocks, an organization working in the field of blind people, teenagers from Nepal, USA, Belgium, Iran, India, Malaysia and Nepal participated in this competition.
Srishti KC, the founder of Blind Rocks, said that this time blind people from all over the world have been included in the Mr. and Miss Blind Rockers program, which has been running continuously for the last 4 years at the national level. Various contestants who came to Nepal to participate in Mr. and Miss Blind Rockers have said that this program has played an important role in developing the abilities and leadership of the blind and introducing them to the world.
The participants said that there is a belief in every country about what the blind can do and this program has played an important role in breaking it. Rison, who came from Malaysia to participate in the competition, said that even though he is blind, he traveled alone to Nepal and that this gave him courage to travel around the world alone.
The jury of Mr. and Miss Blind Rocks included former Miss Nepal and journalist Malvika Subba, actress Suraksha Pant and television program director and producer Suraj Singh Thakuri.
