Famous Indian rapper Honey Singh has been accused of kidnapping and assault.
According to Indian media Hindustan Times, a program management company accused him of kidnapping and assault.
Honey Singh has said that he made the allegation to make himself look bad through social media.
All the allegations against me are false. I and my company have nothing to do with the accuser. I was working with Trive Vibe Company in Mumbai which is a reputed company in Mumbai. It is also a sister company of Book My Show. I gave as much time as I was given. Whoever made such an accusation made me look bad. My legal team is preparing to file a defamation case against him,” he wrote.
According to Mumbai Police, Vivek Raman has registered the complaint. He alleged that Honey Singh and his friend kidnapped and assaulted him.
Vivek filed a complaint on April 19. He organized an event on 15 April at the Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai. Honey Singh participated in this event. After a dispute over a money transaction, Honey and his friend reportedly kidnapped Raman.
