Kathmandu- South Korean girls’ pop band ‘Blackpink’ holds the world record for the most viewed artist on YouTube. According to international media, Blackpink has set a world record by surpassing the record of singer Justin Bieber.
Founded in 2016, the band has so far been viewed 30.1 billion times on YouTube. Justin Bieber’s record has been broken after 13 years. Consisting of members Jenny, Rose, Lisa and Jisu, the band also holds another record for the ‘Most Subscribed Official YouTube Channel’ with 86.4 million subscribers on YouTube.
BTS’ YouTube channel has 74.2 million subscribers while Justin Bieber’s channel has 71.2 million. Blackpink’s debut chart also includes several songs, including “Pink Venom” in third, “How You Like That” in fourth, “Ice Cream” in fifth and Lisa’s “Lalisa” in seventh. Last September 2022, the band released their second awaited album ‘Burnpink’.
