Kathmandu- Indian singer Honey Singh has arrived in Nepal. Singh has arrived in Kathmandu today to participate in a musical program at Hotel Hyatt Regency located in Buddha on 25th Chaitra (April 8, Saturday).
Singh came to Nepal on Friday to participate in a music program organized by Unify Nepal.
After landing at Tribhuvan International Airport, Singh responded that he was happy to perform a program in Nepal for the first time. “Even though we have been planning to hold a program in Nepal for a long time, this time it has been successful,” he said while talking to the organizers at the airport, “I am very excited for the program tomorrow.”
Singh said that he likes Nepal very much because it is a neighboring country of India. I have come to convey the message that musical programs help to connect with each other and that music can connect everyone,’ he said.
Unify has informed that the program to be held in Hyatt Regency has been fully prepared. The ticket price of the program is 1500, 25 and 6000 rupees. 6,000 tickets will be given as a complimentary gift.
Ravin Shrestha of Unify Nepal informed that the final preparations for the Singh program to be held in Hyatt have been completed. “Ordinary tickets are above 1,500 rupees and VIP tickets are up to 6,000 rupees,” he said, “most of the tickets have been sold.” Some tickets can also be purchased at the venue.
According to him, Nepali artists will also perform. Dong the Great, Yabesh Thapa and Vivek Lama are performing.
Shrestha said that the program has been fully secured. He made it clear that the organizers are serious about the safety of the audience and artists.
Singh’s popular songs include Blue Eyes, Dheere Dheere and Char Bottle Vodka. Shrestha informed that he will perform his famous songs in a musical program in Nepal.
Earlier, in a meeting in India with Ravin Shrestha, Ritesh Marwadi and Elvis Ranjit of UNIFI Nepal, Singh said that he was eager to go to Nepal. Singh is also known as a music composer, rapper, singer, songwriter and actor in India.
He started his career as a recording artist from 2003. He has also sung bhangra and hip hop songs after joining the music industry. After Singh became successful with his own songs, he also sang songs for Bollywood. In the year 2012, he acted in the Punjabi film ‘Untold Story’.
