The screening of the film, which is scheduled to be released on the 24th of Chaitra, has become a matter of confusion after Keshav Pandey, the former producer of the film, filed a check bounce and fraud complaint with the police against the producer of the film ‘Prasad 2’. As there are only three days left for the screening, even the promotional work of the film has not been done.
Meanwhile, Subhash Thapa has promised to pay the dues after the release of the film. On Monday, Thapa wrote on Facebook, ‘I expressed my commitment to pay the amount due in Magh, however, I failed in my commitment as it could not be released on time. However, now that all the preparations for the release are underway, I request everyone to help me.’
Stating that his intention was not bad, he said that he could not fulfill his promise due to fate. ‘After the release of the film, I will take my share only by paying all the money to those who have to pay it first. If the money coming from the hall is kept in an organization related to the film and all the accounts are paid from there and the remaining amount is paid to me, I have my approval,’ writes Subhash.
