Kathmandu- The official trailer of Suraksha Pant starrer social drama ‘Bulaki’ has been released. The film revolves around the story of a female character who is forced to live in poverty after becoming childless after marrying a single man.
According to the trailer, overall it is a revenge story. The trailer ends with the husband trying to take revenge on the Tsar after the wife goes off with another man and the wife’s decision to take after that.
The trailer of ‘Bulaki’ reminds us of Dayahang Rai starrer ‘Jari’ which was released last week. Similarities are seen in the plot and central conflict of both the films. Both the films are preparing to release on the same date. The trailer of ‘Bulaki’ was released at a ceremony held in Kathmandu on Thursday. Actors, directors, producers were present at the ceremony.
Naren Khadka, Viraj Bista, Saraswati Khatri, Prakash Kandel, Lakshmi Giri, Sushil Pokharel, Ramesh Budhathoki and others are acting in the top roles of the film. Filmed in Karnali environment, regionality and geography, the film has tried to portray the reality of local women. The film is directed by Laxman Sunar and produced by Topendra Bista.
