Kathmandu 8th Chaitra 2079, Wednesday: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has congratulated and wished the newly appointed Additional Inspector General of Police.
Prime Minister Dahal called the newly appointed Additional Inspectors General of Police Basanta Bahadur Kunwar, Tek Prasad Rai, Deepak Thapa, Shyamalal Gyawali and Kiran Bajracharya to his office today and congratulated them.
In addition, Prime Minister’s Secretariat has also instructed him to play an active role in public service delivery and peace security in the coming term. They were awarded the badge today.
At the Police Headquarters, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dhiraj Pratap Singh awarded badges to Vasant Bahadur Kunwar, Tek Prasad Rai, Deepak Thapa, Shyamalal Gyawali and Kiran Bajracharya who were promoted to AIG.
In the program, Inspector General of Police Singh instructed them to be ready to shoulder the responsibilities that they will get as the head of the organization in the coming days as they will be the head of the organization from the middle of the promotion.
He said that the police officers who are at the highest level of the organization have to face challenges in all directions, so they have to perform these challenges and responsibilities efficiently.
