The film ‘Pashupati Prasad 2: Bhashme Don’, which is being produced as a character-centric sequel to the commercially and critically successful film ‘Pashupati Prasad’ of 2073, has been timed. On Friday, the script and camera were worshiped in the courtyard of the religious site Pashupatinath temple. From the director of the film to the actors were present at the Muhurta ceremony.
When the production of the film was announced, the actors were Bipin Karki, Saugat Malla, Swastima Khadka, Prakash Ghimire, Ravindra Singh Baniyan, Missree Thapa, Sajan Thapa Magar. Now Barsha Siwakoti, who played a special role in ‘Pashupati Prasad’, has also entered the film. However, the director Dipendra K. Khanal said that Barsha is a ‘surprise’ in the film. Khagendra Lamichhane has written the film, which is going to start shooting on the 10th of Chaitra. He is also the producer of the film. Niraj Kandel’s DOP, Krishna Thapa’s cinematography, Dirga Khadka’s editing, Krishna Bharadwaj and Subhash Bhushal’s music, the film will be produced under the banner of Tuki Arts. It has been announced that the film will be screened on the upcoming Bada Dashain Phoolpati.
The film will focus on the character of Bhashme Don played by Bipin Karki in ‘Pashupati Prasad’. Writer Lamichhane has said that he is not going to make only waste sequel. He claimed that it will be a meaningful and logical sequel. It is said that the various ups and downs in the life of Bhashme Don during the period of 7 years will be presented in the film.
