The movie ‘Jai Ho’ to be made under the direction of Tek Pourkhi Rai has been officially announced. During an event held in Kathmandu on Thursday evening, announced the production and screening date of the film on the 8th of Chaitra. 90% of the film will be shot in Mustang and 10% in Talnagari Pokhara.
Arpan Thapa, Salon Basnet, Keki Adhikari, Nisha Adhikari, Maotse Gurung, Ganesh Budhathoki, Deepa Shakya Shrestha, Subi Magar, Sumin Gurung along with Rohit Rumba are the guest stars in the film which is being made under the banner of Salon Salina Films. The film, which is a mix of comedy, action and love story, is produced by Raj K Adhikari and Suraj Sarkar, and presented by Shovit Basnet.
Saurabh Lama’s cinematography, Samrat Basnet’s stunt, Kaviraj Gahatraj and Ramji Lamichhane’s choreography, Banish Shah’s editing, Dipta Prakash Adhikari is the chief assistant director of the film, Kebal Man Singh Basnet and Ganesh Bhandari are the production managers, Subhash Kafle is the production coordinator. ‘Jai Ho’ has story by Suresh Neupane, music by Shambhujeet Baskota and Sagar Ale Magar.

At the announcement event of the film, Salon Basnet said that he is going to start a new journey with ‘Jai Ho’. He said, ‘Now I think that we have to work in a new way. It has been 10 years since I worked in ‘Hostel’. I have thought of starting a new journey with ‘Jai Ho’ by combining what I have learned from all the films I have done during this period.
