After the corona epidemic, the interest towards OTT platform is increasing in the world. The world’s most expensive films and series have been released on OTT, which has emerged as a strong competitor and alternative to the hall. Producers of the big film industry no longer have to rely on light business to raise investment. The OTT platform itself has been buying films by paying more than the investment.
Nepali films have not been able to show their strong presence in the world’s OTT platforms. Neither the attraction of big OTT platforms has been seen towards Nepali films. However, Nepali films have been getting entry into some prestigious OTT channels. Amazon Prime is in the lead. Nepali movies like ‘Bulbul’, ‘Kabaddi Kabaddi Kabaddi’, ‘Shatru Ghate’ etc are available on this platform.
Similarly, last year’s film ‘Hello Zindagi’ also hit Amazon Prime got entry in the film released on Amazon UK can now be watched for free. The film is also available in English audio languages. The film’s producer and actor Vikram D Joshi informed that the film was released on Amazon with the aim of increasing the attraction of Nepali films to the audience around the world.
Everest Surya Bohra has directed the film which has won various international awards. Along with Bikram, Deepika Prasain, Priyanka Karki, Wilson Bikram Rai, Bikrant Basnet, Everest Surya Bohra, Sabita Gurung, Sanamkumar Bairag, Bivia Shrestha, Janaki Pant, Dhruv Dutt are also acting in the film. The film based on a triangular love story is produced by Vikram Joshi and Hiral Joshi.
