KATHMANDU, March 2 – Nepal lost to the United Arab Emirates in the one-day international triangular series of the ICC World Cup League-2.
In Thursday’s match, Nepal lost to home team UAE by 68 runs.
Chasing the target of 208 runs conceded by the United Arab Emirates at the Dubai International Cricket Ground, Nepal scored 139 runs and lost all wickets in 5 balls in 35 overs.
Losing the toss and batting first, UAE scored 208 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the stipulated 50 overs.
With the win, UAE sits fifth in the table with 31 points from 30 games. Nepal occupies the sixth position of the table with 28 points.
