KATHMANDU, February 11: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has organized a dinner program for the newly elected members of the Federal Parliament. The program was organized at the Office of the President Shital Niwas on Saturday afternoon starting at 3:30 pm.
At the start of the program, the Secretary of the Office of the President, Yadav Prasad Koirala, delivered a welcoming address to the Prime Minister, Ministers and Government Deputies. Afterwards, there is a cultural program program and a dinner in the evening.
Lilakant Paudel, assistant practitioner in the Office of the President, informed Ratopati that government ministers, deputies of both houses of the Federal Parliament, officials of the Constitutional Commission and others were invited to the program. President Bhandari has been playing the role of President of the country for 7 years after the promulgation of the new constitution.
The election of the new president will take place on February 25. Bhandari, who is about to leave, has arranged a dinner for the newly elected MPs.
