KATHMANDU, February 7: The Bagmati provincial government has appointed Homnath Chalise as vice-chairman of the Provincial Policy and Planning Commission.
Today’s cabinet meeting of the province appointed Chalise of Lalitpur to the post, said Chief Adviser to Chief Minister Shalikram Jammakattel, DP Dhakal.
Active in the field of study and research, Chalise works as an expert in the healthy aging program of the World Health Organization, Geneva. He has a PhD. from the University of Tokyo.
