He Pokhara-Baglung section of road of the mid hill road it will be closed for eight hours a day citing road improvement.
Vehicles along the route would remain off the road as the highway widening campaign accelerates, says the Mid-Hill Expressway Project.
According to the project, the road would remain closed from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm and from 9:00 pm to 1:00 am every day.
The project office says a provision has been made to run those stopped vehicles at 30-minute intervals.
Currently, the improvement work is being carried out from Hari Chok to Pokhara’s Yamdi Bridge.
The head of the Office of the Mid-Hill Highway Project, Kushma, Narayan Dutta Bhandari, has called on the public to use alternative routes during the time that the Pokhara-Baglung road is closed.
