Reality TV stars Todd and Julie Chrisley are now in the custody of federal prison officials, according to their attorney, Alex Little.
The couple got married last month Sentenced in November In jail for fraud and tax crimes, they report designated prison Florida and Kentucky ahead of Tuesday’s deadline, which was noon local time, Little told CNN.
Todd Chrisley has served 12 years at FPC Pensacola, a minimum-security facility in Pensacola, Florida.
Julie Chrisley is serving her seven-year prison sentence at FMC Lexington, Kentucky, which is described on the prison’s website as a “minimum security satellite camp adjacent to an administrative security federal medical center.”
The Chrisleys, best known for their reality show “Chrisley Knows Best”. Convicted in June in a Georgia court on charges of conspiring to defraud banks of more than $30 million in fraudulent loans.
The couple and their accountant were also convicted of multiple tax crimes, including attempting to defraud the IRS and evading the collection of delinquent taxes, according to the Justice Department.
The Chrisleys maintain their innocence and are appealing their cases.
“Chrisley Knows Best” debuted on USA Network in 2014. A short tenth season will air sometime this year.
