Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Ravi Lamichhane has said that he has come to work for the service and convenience of citizens rather than me. Writing on social media on Friday night, he promised to fulfill what he said with sincerity.
Lamichhane mentioned that after being appointed as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Home Affairs, the leadership of the police inspectors assigned to his security was reduced, and the security personnel were placed under the leadership of the Deputy Inspector of Police, and the security personnel and vehicles of the leader Pachhua were also reduced.

Home administration is the body that creates an environment where citizens feel safe. While I am at the helm of it, I am not the only one walking around in a high security zone to meet the expectations of the citizens. I have come to this responsibility to work for the service and convenience of the citizens rather than myself. I will do what I say with honesty.
– Immediately after the appointment of the Deputy Prime Minister and the Home Minister, I have reduced the leadership of the police inspector who will work for my security, and replaced the security personnel with the leadership of the deputy inspector of police (SAI).
– I have decided to keep only one vehicle under security from today by removing the leader (back) security guard who is in the vehicle of the Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister. Please consider the situation as an exception.
– As the leader of the agency that enforces the rules that everyone should follow the rules of the road, I always travel in line with the traffic and I am committed to making sure that the road lane discipline is fully followed. I will abide by these rules throughout my tenure unless an unavoidable circumstance arises.
– I am always a critic of the trend of overtaking citizens with sirens, I do not do this except in emergency situations.
– If I have to go somewhere for personal work or on vacation, I will use my own vehicle and if I have to use a government vehicle in any case, I will submit the account to the state.
