Pragya Joshi was once active in film production and acting. She has produced films like ‘Notebook’, ‘Samjhana’, and ‘Sapoot’, and has been attracted to serials for a few years now. Currently, she is busy producing and acting in the serial called ‘Sahara’, and now she is going to re-produce the popular teleserial ‘Sindoor’ from 17 years ago.
On Friday, the auspicious ceremony of the serial was held at the Bhadrakali temple in Kathmandu. Written and directed by Binay Raj Paudel, the serial will feature Pragya along with Nabin Shrestha, Lakshmi Bhushal, Pradip Raj Giri, Ashmi Thapa, Dipendra Sonam, Sneha Paudel, Poornima GM, Tekendra Neupane, Pawan KC, etc. Madan Kashyap Ghimire has the responsibility of filming the serial.
The serial will be produced under the banner of Pragya Films, with lyrics composed by Lay Sangraula and music by Samrat Thapa. Producer Joshi announced that the 17-year-old teleserial will be made with the current generation in mind, saying that even now, the serial is equally relevant, so she will try to make it the best. She also mentioned that there is currently a plan to make a film.
