Kathmandu: The song of the new Nepali film ‘Julebi’, which will be screened on Bhadra 1, has been released. The song of the film, titled ‘Aaja Maan’ was premiered at a program in Kathmandu on Thursday.
Koshish Chhetri and Ketan Chhetri composed the melody and lyrics for this song, which also incorporates Ketan Chhetri’s vocals.
“Ratnapark connects the characters of the film, and the story of the film revolves around the relationship of seven individuals,” writer and director Ganesh Dev Pandey said in a speech during the event. The story “Julebi” was inspired by the writer and director’s personal experiences.
Actress Surakshya Panta spoke at the occasion and recalled her interactions with filmmaker Ganesh Dev Pandey, whose story centered around Ratnapark and working on many stories. They (sex workers) are lovely people, and they have their own experiences, she continued, “but not many films are made on this narrative; our society has a different perspective.
Ganesh Dev Pandey has directed the film in the anthology genre, with Nabin Bhatt as the executive producer. Produced under the banner of Four Cube Entertainment, this film stars Surakshya Pant, Nisha Adhikari, Usha Rajak, Monika Thapa, Sushil Sitaula, Puskar Karki, Tuphan Thapa, Samir Mani Dixit, and others.
Abha Sharma Nepal is the movie’s producer. The film’s story, which was written by filmmaker Pandey, is expected to be novel to the viewers, according to the production team.
Anjay Khadka’s editing, Bibek Khadka’s photography, Jataveda Banerjee’s music, and Uttam Neupane’s sound design are all top-notch. The film’s digital rights, which were distributed by DCN and Rich Entertainment, have been acquired by DAR Movies.
