Kathmandu- Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is going to make her debut this year at the Met Gala, which is considered the epicenter of world fashion. The interesting thing is that she will make her debut at the Metgala in a dress prepared by Prabal Gurung, an American fashion designer of Nepali origin.
Alia has worn Prabal’s designs before and she is also a fan of Prabal. The two met at the opening ceremony of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center held in Mumbai last week. In the year 2017, Deepika Padukone also made her debut at the Met Gala wearing Prabal’s design.
Kareena Kapoor, Kiara Advani, Priyanka Chopra, Aishwarya Rai, Katrina Kaif, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Radhika Merchant and others have also worn Prabal’s designs. MetGala, which is considered the epicenter of world fashion, will be held in New York on May 1.
The theme of the 2023 MetGala is Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty. This year’s MetGala will be dedicated to the legendary fashion designer who passed away in 2019. This time too, including Indian celebrities Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Madonna are expected to attend the Met Gala.
