Mumbai- SS Rajamouli’s super hit film ‘RRR’ has set a new record in Japan. The Ram Charan, Jr. NTR, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn starrer film has set the record of being the first Indian film to register more than 1 million footfalls in theaters in Japan.
This film was released in 31 IMEX screens including 209 screens in 44 cities in Japan. The film has been shown over 1 million times in Japan. Rajamouli, the director of the film, expressed his gratitude to the Japanese audience in his Twitter account in Japanese.
The film has earned more than Rs 80 crore in Japan so far. Business analysts estimate that it will exceed 100 million clubs in Japan. The film completed 100 days in Japan last January.
