Nawazuddin Siddiqui has filed a defamation case against his ex-wife Anjana Pandey (Alia) and his brother Shamsuddin.
He has demanded compensation of Rs 100 crore for defamation and harassment due to false claims made against him. Sunil Kumar filed the petition on his behalf.
According to Indian media India Today, the case will be heard on March 30.
In 2008, when Nawaz’s brother was unemployed, he appointed his manager. Nawaz gave his credit card, debit card, ATM, signed check book, bank password, email all to his brother. After some time, his brother started embezzling money.
A dispute between Nawaz and Alia has been going on for a long time. Alia filed a writ against Nawaz in the High Court. Where she has demanded DNA test of her son and Nawaz.
Earlier, Nawaz’s mother had registered an FIR against her daughter-in-law Alia. Nawaz’s mother has filed an FIR saying that the child is not her son’s. In response, Alia accused Nawaz and his family of misbehaving.
Nawaz and Alia met in 2004. After some time they were living together. According to Alia, she, Nawaz and Nawaz’s brother Shamsuddin used to live in the same room.
Nawaz and Alia got married in 2010. After a year of marriage, she gave birth to a son.
