Abbas Mustan was the director of the film ‘Baazigar’. When he made this film, not Shahrukh but Salman was his first choice. However, when Salman Khan refused to do the film, he took his story to Shahrukh. As Salman, he did not want to become a villain in the initial phase of his career and for this reason he refused to do the film. He started feeling that after playing a negative character, his image may not become like this. Because of this, Bhaijaan of Bollywood turned down the offer of the film, which later went to Shahrukh.
