KATHMANDU, March 12 – The Electoral Commissioner has announced that the final list of candidate names for the upcoming Vice Presidential elections will be released between 4 and 5:00 pm today.
The four candidates who submitted their nominations on Saturday will undergo evaluations and any complaints filed against them will be reviewed before the final list of names is released.
The election will take place on March 17.
In an effort to promote diversity, the Election Commission has directed the election official to ensure that candidates from different genders and communities are registered as nominees for office. Stay tuned for updates on the final list of candidates.
