Bollywood industry has been shocked by the death of famous actor and director Satish Kaushik. He breathed his last on Thursday at the age of 66. His death is said to be due to an art attack. Satish, who acted in many memorable and good films during his lifetime, was considered to have excellent comedy timing. He was equally adept at directing as well as acting.
Satish made his directorial debut with the film ‘Roop Ki Rani, Choron Ka Raja’. It was the most expensive film of Bollywood at that time. He has also directed films like ‘Tere Naam’, ‘Kaagaz’, ‘Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rahte Hain’, ‘Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai’, ‘Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai’. His last directorial film is ‘Kaagaz 2’, which is yet to be screened after completion of shooting.
Tere Naam is one of the best films directed by him. This film became the turning point of actor Salman Khan’s career. However, the film was not a blockbuster. However, Salman’s performance in the film was strong. Its songs are still famous. He also wanted to make the second part of this film. He also had a story ready for that.
Satish Kaushik had said in an interview three years ago, ‘I have a story for ‘Tere Naam 2’. However, I have not had any conversation with Salman Khan on this matter. And I don’t even know if the film will be made or not. If it does, I will be very happy. The fact that ‘Tere Naam 2′ should be done should come to Salman’s mind. Because, he is a big star now.’
He also recalled that ‘Tere Naam’ suddenly came to his mind while saying that he would leave if something happened. ‘This film was initially confirmed to be done by someone else. However, it could not be done. No one believed in that subject. I had seen the remake of it and I liked it and directed it. In the same way, ‘Tere Naam 2′ can also be made suddenly,’ said Satish.
